Shambellie House and Grounds are the ideal place to spend a creative morning exploring gelli printing. This is a fun and versatile printmaking technique and no experience necessary. This workshop is perfect for beginners and also people familiar with the gelli plate, who are wanting to develop their ideas.

We will have the opportunity to explore the lovely grounds at Shambellie House to look for suitable natural objects that we can make prints of, including grasses, leaves and petals. We will pay particular attention to the shapes and surface texture of the natural materials and then experiment with natural materials and monotype, using a polymer plate, brayer and acrylic paints to create prints and greetings cards.
