Professional photographers Ricky Nolan and Alan Bennington will show you how to prepare unique handmade photographic images using Cyanotype and Argyrotype processes. You will have a fun and relaxing day using these traditional photographic techniques, being creative and taking inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Shambellie House and Grounds.  Ricky and Alan will guide you through the processes which are sensitive to ultra-violet light and help you create soft images in blue and brown hues. Ricky will work with you to prepare images from gathered natural elements such as leaves, grasses and feathers while Alan will help with preparing acetate negatives from digital files ready for transfer to these alternative processes.

Suitable for beginners and those with no experience.

Subsidised by the Regional Events Growth Fund
