Description

Part of the Photography Festival 2024. Join us at Shambellie House for a  one hour illustrated talk followed by questions and discussion. Starting with a nod to Fox Talbot and taking in some key photographers such as August Sander, Edward Steichen, Walker Evans, Dianne Arbus, Chris Killip and Massimo Vitalli, we will explore various approaches to the dynamic relationship between the camera and human subjects.

About the Day

This is an evening talk running as part of our Photography Festival. The talk starts at 6pm and runs until  around 9pm. There will be a break with refreshments and a chance to view the exhibition of photographs.

The talk will take place on the ground floor which is accessible by wheelchairs. Some of the exhibition is upstairs and unfortunately we have no lift however an online gallery is showcased on the ground floor.
