Description

In this workshop, we will explore combining different fabrics, hand embroidery and natural objects such as shells and feathers to create unique textile artworks. We will look at different hand embroidery stitches, methods of attaching found objects, ways of hanging our work and ways of adding texture and movement to our work. During the session we will each work on a small textile hanging; some students may complete theirs in the day whilst others may wish to carry on at home. This will be a lovely relaxing session, a great opportunity to slow down and enjoy some creative time.
