Have you just started knitting or been knitting for a while and want to try something new? This course will explore colour-work, different stitches and cabling to bring texture and colour to your knitting. As long as you can knit a few stitches you will be able to enjoy this course.
Katy has been sewing and working with textiles since she was very young. She grew up in a family of makers, menders, knitters and dressmakers. She has developed textile businesses and delivered courses for many years. Her courses are always accessible and fun, concentrating on enjoying on the creative journey. Katy continues to enjoy sewing and knitting as hobbies, and has a particular passion for reusing vintage textiles and sock knitting.
Knit the Next Steps will run from 10am until 4pm and will include refreshments throughout the day including fresh coffee, teas and a light lunch.
