Join artist Bella Green to discover fresh approaches to making drawings from direct observation.  Weather permitted we will spend some time outdoors taking inspiration from the stunning grounds at Shambellie.

You will explore a wide variety of drawing materials – pencil, charcoal, pen, pastel, brush and ink, and how they can be used in different ways.

Bella will be running a follow-up course on 28 August ‘OBSERVE-PLAY-CREATE with Painting’.

The class will introduce the skills of seeing used by artists to guide you in tackling any subject.

Along with practical activities, there will be demonstrations, slides and notes to take away, with many options and  exercises to help you play with and explore drawing .

The workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced artists.
