Description

Artist Bella Green will show how to develop your subject from drawing into painting and offer strategies for making colour more expressive.

You will play with layers of markmaking to build a painting and explore the use of texture and gesture to interpret and respond to your subject, along with investigating the power of using a limited palette of colours.

As well as practical work, there will be demonstrations, slides and notes to take away and many options and exercises to help you play with and explore painting .

The workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced artists.
