Description

An introduction to High Key Photography with Alan McNeish.

High key photography is a style of photography that uses unusually bright lighting to reduce or completely blow out dark shadows in the image. High key shots usually lack dark tones and the high key look is generally thought of as positive and upbeat.

On this half day taster workshop you will be given an introduction to studio lighting with different modifiers (lighting attachments). You will also be shown how to use a light meter to set the correct exposure. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to have a go at setting up the lights for yourself and take photos of a model (models will be other workshop participants). Alan will demonstrate a number of different lighting set ups.
