There are options to make your finished piece into a wallhanging with appliqué, or a fabric container or zipped pouch.
Elma has been a member of the Solway Quilters in Dumfries for the last 26 years. A Home Economics teacher specialising in Needlecraft she was first introduced to patchwork and quilting while living in Suffolk. As a hobby, she has explored various types of patchwork over the years taking inspiration from workshops, quilt shows and her surroundings, teaching classes locally encouraging others to enjoy the craft.
The workshop runs from 10.00am-4.00pm and includes refreshments and a light lunch.
There is a flight of stairs from the main entrance with a stair lift. The course will take place in the Gallery on the second floor accessed only by a flight of stairs.
