Drop in on our Quilters of Shambellie House who will be in residence for our annual ‘Quilt Fling’ with an exhibition of quilts, demonstrations and fabric sales.
The exhibition includes the Quilt Collab of Glasgow and work by Jo Gallant, Helen Walsh and New Abbey Primary School Designs. Demonstrations will take place over the four days showing hand and machine quilting, embroidery, lace making and fabric flowers.
Our Quilters of Shambellie House are all looking forward to having a chat over a cuppa and cake, sharing their plans for the full quilt exhibition later this year and telling you about all the quilting and textiles classes coming up including what is planned for the autumn. You will have the chance to ask how you can get involved in the main exhibition and let them know what sort of workshops you would like to see at Shambellie.
There will be an array of fabric on sale at £6 per metre, fat quarters, notions, patterns and packs as well as second hand books to inspire your own projects!
Booking is not necessary but helpful so we have enough cake! Groups welcome.
