Bargello patchwork is made by machine stitching strips of fabric together, crosscutting them, then rearranging before being sewn back together to create the appearance of movement.
Your panel will then be quilted and embellishments can be added to make it your own textile art wallhanging. Alternatively the piece can be used in a cushion or bag panel or as a book cover.
You will learn about choosing suitable fabrics and ‘tips and tricks’ for accurate stitching, quilting and finishing techniques as well as ideas for embellishing and using your Bargello panel.
