Join us to learn the technique of using cut outs and changing the colour of the background fabric to make shadows behind the leaves. Learn and relax while you meet like minded folks and enjoy a day away at Shambellie House. Lunch and refreshments included and sewing machine available if required.
Quilting is good for the soul and your wellbeing and your confidence in your own capabilities will grow with each project. You can drop in and do one or two Sunday classes or book them all and make the most of the chance to meet likeminded people.
Make a Kiwi Leaves Shadow Panel 25” x 16”
Learn the technique of using cut outs and changing the colour of the background fabric to make shadows behind the leaves. Applique leaves are added along with borders around the panel. Next step is to layer up your panel (3 layers) and quilt and bind.
Introducing shadows as you use household liquids to the medium along with cut out leaves.
