Description

Led by Spring Fling Artist Andy Brooke, these short day workshops will introduce you to copper foil or leaded stained glass techniques and there will be a range of different coloured/textured glass to choose from for your design. There will be time to work from your own idea or one of our designs to create a finished sun-catcher or small panel within the day. All tools and materials will be provided on the day and you can work at your own pace. All levels of experience with glass are welcome.

There will be an additional £10 for materials paid directly to the Tutor on the day.

This workshop can be done as a one off or book a few and talk to Andy about developing something over a few weeks.

Prior to moving to Dumfries two years ago, I had a career teaching art and photography at Colchester Sixth Form College in Essex. I have taught students in all areas of art and art history and have worked as a community artist with The Stove Network in NW Dumfries for the past 18 months. I also have a home studio where I combine my interests of stained glass and photo-screen printing. I have taught glass, photography and ceramics workshops to all age groups over the years.
