**Steadying the Mind in Choppy Waters – Stepping into Kindness

From: £60.00

Saturday 8th July 2023

10.30am – 4.30pm

This 2nd session is suitable as a ‘stand alone’ session but will also build on the first session for those who attended.

It may surprise us to realise that bringing kindness towards ourselves is not always easy! Maybe we find it easier to give kindness to others than to ourselves?  Yet, if we are able to, we can begin to relax into who we are, rather than who we ‘think’ we should be!

Description

We will cover further mindfulness practices to settle the busy mind and to discuss and explore Self-Kindness practices and how they can be helpful in order to welcome our ever-changing mental and emotional landscapes with a more gentle and open attitude.  Participants will be encouraged to go at their own pace with any practices during the session.

The day will include mindfulness and kindness practices, sharing, discussion and gentle movement/walking in the grounds, and suggested practices to continue at home.
