About the Day
Taking Delight in Photography – Seeing in a Moment of Stillness will run from 10.30am until 1pm with refreshments including fresh coffee, teas and cake.
Find out how to move towards being in the present at this time, this place, no matter what it is! If we approach taking that special photographic image when we are in ‘busy mode’ – our ability to really see can be obscured by our distracted busy minds. On top of this, our agendas to create that perfect picture can also at times get in the way when we may become tense aiming for a type of perfection, trying to ‘get it right’. Enjoy and savour the chance to stay with the ever-changing qualities of light, the perfectness in a blade of grass, or an imperceptible tiny beetle climbing up it’s stalk, and even the beauty in a brown and shriveled leaf discarded from last season’s winter winds.
