TV Star, Author and Teacher comes to Shambellie

We were lucky enough to have the Great British Sewing Bee’s Stuart Hillard to talk and teach at Shambellie. His talk about his quilts (he had around 40 quilts with him) was inspiring, as were his classes. Stuart taught his pupils how to use scraps to their best effect and how to make his famous ‘messenger bag’. Visitors to his talk were thrilled to get their quilt books signed personally!
