Coronation Quilt

Shambellie House Vice Chair and Quilter in Residence Ann Hill BEM was asked to make a quilt to mark the King’s Coronation. Ann invited the young people from New Abbey and Kirkbean schools along with the participants at Cloverglen Service for Young Adults, our partners at Shambellie House, to supply designs and pictures which she has made into this very special quilt. Yesterday we visited the youngsters at both schools to show them the finished result. The quilt will be on display at Shambellie House and available to the schools and village for any local events.
