Help us make Shambellie House amazing!

We are thrilled to have opened Shambellie House as a creative hub for arts, heritage and the environment but there’s so much more we would like to do.  We welcome members as part of the Shambellie House community and as such, you will be helping us progress and make a real difference.

Member Benefits

As members you will receive regular updates about our plans and programmes, priority booking information and invites to a number of member thank you events throughout the year.

Shambellie House Trust is a Community Benefit Society and a registered charity.  All members are shareholders.  Shares costs £1 and the holding is 10 shares, so a £10 investment per person.  In addition to your financial investment, we are also grateful to members in being part of a wider consultation group as we develop the project and in helping to demonstrate community support to potential funders.

Members are able to attend the Shambellie House Trust’s AGM and elect Trustees to the Board.  All Members have one vote regardless of how many shares you hold and there are limits on how much you can invest.  Your shares can never be worth more than what you paid for them.

Community Shares and Community Benefit Societies

Support the social aims of Shambellie House

Community shares are often used to save local pubs and shops or finance renewable energy schemes, transform community facilities, restore historic buildings, and most importantly to build stronger, more vibrant and independent communities.
