Digital Suite Induction & Introduction to Affinity (photo-editing software) with David Milner – THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL

Part 1: The Digital Suite Induction details how to access the iMac computers, general guidance on “house-keeping” & expectations regarding closing down computers after use.
The Introduction to Affinity aims to give users an understanding of the tools & layout of the software,
Break for light refreshments & discussion (there is a cafe on site for anyone who would like lunch)
Part 2: This will be a “hands on” session demonstrating the basics of photo-editing using non-destructive adjustment layers. Participants will learn how to open, edit & save digital images and have the opportunity to print 1 x A4 image on photo paper at the end of the session.
Participants should bring 2-3 images that they would like to edit. These can be on a memory stick/flash drive in any standard image format e.g. jpg, tiff, HEIC (phone images) or raw formats (digital cameras). You can also bring hard copies (which can be scanned on the day).
Lunch can be bought in the cafe at Shambellie. Light refreshments will be available free of charge (tea and cake).
