A very special opportunity to work with the talented textile artist Jo Gallant. Join us for two days, in the relaxing setting of Shambellie House, where you will work under the expert guidance of Jo to create a panel based on garden flowers full of bright colour and rich textures. You’ll be treated to expert tuition, lunch and refreshments and a lovely weekend being creative in this very inspiring setting. During the weekend you will use dyeing and dye-painting to produce a range of silk and cotton fabrics, which will then be transformed into a depiction of flowers and foliage using cutting, shaping, and machine embroidery.
Please bring scissors and a selection of threads with you.
Absorbing, relaxing and creative and you will leave with a wonderful unique creation to take away.
