Shambellie House 2025 Photography Exhibition – Theme ‘Rural Life’

Visit the Shambellie House Annual Photography Exhibition where our theme for 2025 is ‘Rural Life’.

The main exhibition will showcase photographic entries, selected by a panel of judges.

Booking is helpful but not essential. Please feel free to drop in and pay on the door. Entry includes access to the exhibitions plus tea/coffee and cake.

Excitingly, to launch the exhibition there will be a Photography Convention on Saturday 28 June followed by a day of Taster Workshops on Sunday 29 June 2025.   See our calendar of events here.

Description

Join us for the annual 2025 Shambellie House Photography Exhibition as we celebrate with the theme ‘Rural Life’ and vote for your ‘People’s Choice 2025’ winner.

The exhibition will be launched at a private view on the 27th June and then shared at our Photography Convention on Saturday 28 June 2025.

The Exhibition will then open to the public from 30th June to the 6th July, between 10am – 4pm every day. Photographers who have been selected will have their work displayed in our galleries, with their work also appearing in an online gallery on our website.

The exhibition features work from emerging, established and young photographers with submissions from  Local, National and International photographers.

If you want to be part of the weekend the convention features talks from guest speakers: Outdoor, Freelance Photographer Emily Endean and Photographer, Filmmaker and Author Sean Tucker. plus a selection of local photographers. Day two offers a selection of ‘taster’ half day and full day workshops.

About the Exhibition

The photographs will be exhibited throughout the house with some rooms only available via stairs. The whole ground floor is accessible and we will have an online gallery of the images available to view at your leisure in the dining room area for those who are unable to manage the stairs.
